Children’s Hope India raised around $1 million at their annual gala in New York. While celebrating their 25th year of serving the underprivileged children of India, CHI presented Chandrika Tandon with the Lotus Award for her dedication to their cause.
After accepting the award, Tandon spoke powerfully of finding her own inner radiance, “My concept of perfection changed – now I believe I am perfect, we are all perfect. I believe there’s an incredible universe taking care of us and I believe we all have to take care of each other for we will not be complete unless we can do that. We have to do that for ourselves and for each other,” she said.
