Chandrika Tandon shared strong support for India’s accelerating push into artificial intelligence ahead of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi (February 16–20). She highlighted the summit’s “People, Planet, and Progress” focus and emphasized how bringing together government, industry, and academia can spark practical partnerships and global collaboration.
In the same spirit of building real-world impact, Tandon and her husband, Ranjan Tandon, recently backed a major educational initiative: a 100 crore rupee endowment to establish the Krishnamurthy Tandon School of Artificial Intelligence at IIM Ahmedabad. The school is expected to concentrate on translational research—applying AI across sectors like agriculture, healthcare, and education—while also prioritizing responsible thinking around ethics, security, productivity, and the future of work.
